Passive Infra Red sensors (P.I.R.) detect movement within their range and angle capabilities, in daylight, dusk or complete darkness.
Time and Light Sensitivity Settings
Many of our sensors can be set to ignore signals inside a designated area or until ambient light falls to a user set level. Once activated, sensors can illuminate for a user set time.
Depending on the model, time settings vary from 5 seconds to 12 minutes and light sensitivity from 5 to 5.000 Lux.
Detection Range
The distance the sensor can detect movement within when mounted at an reasonable height of 2.5mtrs.
Detection Angle
The detection angle is the horizontal angle through which movement can be detected.
Eg: 110° or 140° |
