Hidden is a new and interesting indoor lighting from Nordlux. Put it in the
hall, bathroom, corridor or utility room. Hidden is manufactured in opal
white glass and brushed steel and it is equipped with a microwave sensor. This
type of sensor detects the change in echo from even the slightest movement in
its detection zone and turns the light on. The sensor is hidden behind the opal
white lens. We recommend using max. 2 x 25W light sources or even better 2 x 11W
low-energy light sources.
Please see the detection zone of the sensor in
the symbols:
The first symbol is showing the detection zone when the
fixture is mounted in the ceiling. The second symbol is showing the detection
zone when mounting HIDDEN on the wall.
There are three possibilities to
set the fixture.
The first button to the left: Reach setting
(sensitivity) Reach is the term used to describe the radius of the
more or less circular detection zone produced on the ground after mounting the
senor light at a height of 2.5 m. Turn the reach control fully anticlockwise to
select minimum reach (approx. 3 m radius), and fully clockwise to select maximum
reach (approx. 10 m radius)
The centre button: Time setting
The
light can be set to stay ON for any period of time between approx. 8 sec. (turn
fully anticlockwise) and maximum of 12 minutes (turn fully clockwise). Any
movement detected before this time elapse will re-start the timer. It is
recommended to select the shortest time for adjusting the detection zone and for
performing the walk test.
The button far to the right: Light control
setting
Light control setting (Lux to switch on the light) The chosen
light response threshold can be infinitely from approx. 2 – 2000 lux. Turn it
fully anticlockwise to select dusk-to –dawn operation at about 2 lux. Turn if
fully clockwise to select daylight operation at about 2000 lux. The button must
be turned fully clockwise when adjusting the detection zone and performing the
walk test in daylight.
