Inspired by Light is a retail lighting company. We supply lighting products to businesses and individuals in the EU, Northern Ireland and Scottish Highlands and Islands, and some overseas countries.
Prices for Goods specified at Inspired by Light are for orders placed through our site facility and are in £ sterling, inclusive of VAT, where applicable. Prices charged will be those prevailing when an order is placed.
Prices on some items may differ from those listed in any Inspired by Light price list, catalogue or other printed media.
Prices and the availability of items are subject to change without notice at any time.
Any "RRP Prices" used on this Site relate to the manufacturers suggested selling prices and may not be indicative of the actual selling prices in your area.
Any reference to "savings" used on this Site indicates the average savings off the "RRP Price". Your actual savings will vary depending upon the goods purchased and the date of the transaction.
We reserve the right to limit sales. Offers and product ranges displayed on this website are not available to wholesalers or resellers of lighting or electrical supplies.

Applicability
Unless otherwise stated, these Terms and Conditions apply regardless of the method used to the order the goods. All orders are accepted on these Terms and Conditions
No variations to these Terms and Conditions shall be binding unless agreed to in writing between Inspired by Light and the purchaser.
Website Prices and Payment
All website prices include UK excise duty and UK VAT applicable at the time. All goods must be paid for before despatch. Payment may be made using our secure server by Amex, Visa, MasterCard, Solo, Electron, and Delta cards. If you are sending a personal cheque, goods will not be despatched before satisfactory clearance. We also accept Telephone Orders and Paypal. Please do not send cash payments through the post.
3D Secure
We recommend all customers sign up for the Verified by Visa or Mastercard SecureCode authentication service (commonly known as 3D Secure) for added protection against fraud on your Internet purchases. You can take advantage of this service when shopping through us. We do not take payment for your order until your goods have shipped, unless your payment has not been authorised and fully 3D Secured. In such cases we will take payment immediately.
Confirmation of Order
We recommend all customers make sure their e-mail address is correct to ensure order details are received throughout your purchase.
All orders will be confirmed by email immediately after the order is processed. In the event of that you do not recieve a confirmation email of your order, please log-in to your account to see your status, or contact our customer service department who will be happy to assist you.
Installation
We recommend a qualified electrician must install all products supplied.
All products must be earthed where necessary.
The mains supply must always be isolated prior to installation.
Installation accessories such as screws and raw plugs etc are not supplied.
Liability will not be accepted for any personal damages such as electrocution, loss of life due to improper installation. Your statuary rights are not affected.
Free Bulbs
We will attempt to provide the correct free standard and capsule bulb/s with the relevant products according to the manufacturers instruction and the picture viewed by the customer on the website, however if stock supplies are exhausted at any time we reserve the right to ship the closest matching bulb/s for the product. This offer excludes any fittings that require unusual, energy saving or non-standard lamps.
We regret we cannot send replacement bulbs for any free bulbs received broken.
General
Descriptions and measurements are supplied by the manufacturer and are as accurate as possible to the best of our knowledge. Inspired by Light reserves the right to decline to trade with any company or person.
